Ingredients

16 fluid ounces plain unsweetened soymilk or other plant milk

23 tablespoons blackstrap molasses

Instructions

  1. Heat the soymilk in a saucepan until just below boiling.
  2. Remove from heat, add molasses and stir very well.
  3. Let cool for 15 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  4. Serve over ice.

Notes

Two tablespoons of molasses will give a milder flavor, while three tablespoons will have more richness. The nutritional analysis reflects 2 tablespoons of molasses.
